 Baume de Bouteville is an artisanal production of French balsamic condiments, located in the heart of the Cognac vineyard in Bouteville in Charente. Today, a whole range of top-of-the-range vinegars, created for Chefs, is now offered to all gourmets. Exceptional vinegars but also everyday, which sublimate the dishes but also the cocktails! We organize visits to the Factory in the summer, outside of our production and packaging activity. Do not hesitate to book a visit on the proposed slots, or to contact us for any special request. We offer three visit options: 1. The Classics Monday to Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 2. Les Conviviales Monday to Saturday from 10.30 a.m. to 5 p.m. (reservation 48 hours in advance). La villa décorée de façon épurée et contemporaine est un peu le reflet de la cuisine étoilée de Thierry Verrat : une modernité équilibrée apportée aux plats et une présentation tout en subtilité. Ajoutez un vivier et une épicerie, des cours de cuisine et même des plats à emporter.

Un bijou de l'art roman, et non gothique, comme souvent au XIIème siècle, l'année de sa fondation. Cette cathédrale superbe, l'une des plus belles et fines de Charente, présente des particularités architecturales qui valent bien le détour. Sans parler de son emplacement, au cœur de la cité médiévale d'Angoulême. Beaucoup modifiée au cours des siècles, elle retrouve son aspect originel seulement au XIXème siècle.

Prendre le train des mouettes, c'est choisir de faire une parenthèse dans ses vacances balnéaires. La plus vieille locomotive de France vous fera découvrir La Seudre, depuis La [Tremblade] jusqu'à Saujon, à travers un paysage champêtre bordé de marais salants et de villages ostréicoles. La ligne de chemin de fer qu'elle emprunte servait au transport des huîtres, dès la fin du XIXème siècle.

Creusée au XIIème siècle, l'église monolithe avait pour vocation d'abriter des reliques dans une succession de fosses dans les parois calcaires. D'innombrables pèlerins s'y sont recueillis, la magie et la puissance du lieu font de ce site une visite très émouvante.

Entre boiseries et tentures, ce restaurant cossu propose une cuisine aussi fastueuse que les lieux qui l'accueillent. Ici les produits de la région sont sublimés pour donner un avant-goût de paradis aux convives. Les oeufs de Monsieur Geay, la sole en filet, le pigeonneau du poitou en croûte... The walls of our ageing cellars tell the fascinating story of this noble beverage, from its craft origins to its contemporary refinement.   Our trilogy: our signature "at Hine and nowhere else". Cognacs made exclusively from Grande and Petite Champagne vintages, distilled on the lees, and aged in fine grain oak with light to moderate toasting. Every detail of the production process is revealed here. During this escapade, and through different experiences, let yourself be seduced by exceptional eaux-de-vie, to be enjoyed neat or in cocktails, or accompanied by delicate food and cognac pairings that will reveal surprising combinations and captivate your palate.

 In the heart of Grande Champagne, in an authentic setting, we invite you to share our passion for cognac and to discover all the steps necessary for its production. Depending on the time of year, you will be able to discover ""in real life"" the work of the vines, the harvest, the winemaking and the very rare and fascinating distillation over a wood fire. We will also take you to our cellars where the eaux-de-vie age that we blend to create our Raison Personnelle cognac, the latest version of which you can taste. For fans curious about a more complete tasting, I offer an immersion with 4 XO cognacs combined with selected chocolates (15€/person, options to choose when booking) Do not hesitate to make any special requests, we will make sure to meet your expectations!

 Come and feel the magic of nature at La Noyeraie des Borderies, where the VIDAL family, organic walnut producers, welcomes you for visits-tasting, shopping in our ""terroir"" products shop, or a tasty picnic break under the walnut trees ! You will be seduced by this unique site nestled in the heart of the Cognac vineyards in Charente. The farm Shop is open Tuesday-Friday 9am-5pm (+ Saturday from June to August), a large choice of local tasty products are on offer !  Reservation is required for tours and picnics.
